The coverage of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, including this article, is embarrassing. To anyone who is not blinded by political dogma, he acted in self-defence.

First and foremost, it was legal for Kyle to carry an AR-15 because it was not a short barrel rifle. That is why the charge was dismissed. That is one of the many inaccuracies parroted by the media and this article.

Secondly, Kyle never, not once, pursued anyone. The first attacker, who pursued Kyle and attempted to grab his gun was shot only after he ran after Kyle and hit him over the head. It should also be mentioned that this attacker was a convicted pedophile. The other attacker was killed after Kyle was chased by a mob of people who yelled “Get him!” and chased him down the street.

Third, Biden should be sued for defamation for suggesting Kyle is a white supremacist. Kyle was trained in First Aid and was there to protect the business that were (as acknowledged by the prosector) on literal fire. Democrats suggest he should’ve just stood by and done nothing - something they attacked bystanders for doing when George Floyd was killed. Further, not that it should matter, the three attackers were white. The only “connection" to white supremacy is that Kyle was defending against BLM rioters. Only for Democrats is correlation equal to causation.

The claim that he had no business acting as a “vigilante” is also comical. A vigilante attacks criminals. Kyle did no such thing. He did not pursue anyone. He was there to help others.

As a Canadian, the fact that there are still those that think Kyle is guilty is the true indictment on Americans.
